Comfort Hotel East Melbourne

The location was excellent for access to the city with a lovely walk through the gardens, and closeness to the hospital which I had to attend. The room was large, clean and modern. It was very quiet, wonderful. The ladies at reception at check in were friendly and helpful, thank you.

Have stayed here before as it is close to the MCG, FREE PARKING, which is a Bonus and the rates are generally fairly good. For a one night stay it's perfect.

It is a brilliant location with only a short walk to the CBD through the Fitzroy and Treasury Gardens. Its close to Fitzroy, Richmond and Collingwood cafes & restaurants. A relatively quiet spot surrounded by beautifully renovated /maintained terrace houses and some impressive, old larger residences. Comfortable and good value accomodation with essential off street parking.

Apart from the renovations everything else was ok. The staff were helpful and carried my bags up stairs for me as the lift was out of action. Location is brilliant for any medical needs

Staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great spot with easy access to trams directly to the city. The room itself is spacious with a couch and a kitchenette. The hotel also supplied an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, mini fridge/freezer and large TV. The parking at the back of the hotel is VERY tight so be cautious if you're driving a larger car. That being said there is ample parking and I never had trouble finding a spot.
